Ustadz Jefri Al-Buchori sudah meninggalkan kita. Dalam usia yang masih sangat muda yakni 40 tahun. Suami Pipik Dian Irawati itu meninggal dalam keadaan kecelekaan. Jauh sebelum maut menjemputnya, ustadz gaul itu pernah ceramah mengenai kematian. Mati muda dan segala persiapannya.

Bicara soal mati itu, kadang-kadang yang muda itu jadi sombong. Yang muda hanya berpikir yang mati hanya yang tua. Karena cara berpikirnya adalah cara berpikir logika.  Kalau logika ya seperti itu cara berpikirnya.  Logika kan bicara, mangga muda atau mangga tua yang dipetik?  Yang sering dipetik mangga tua. Jadi siap-siap yang tua.
Sekarang timbul lagi pertanyaan logika. Kelapa muda atau tua yang dipetik? Semua rata-rata kelapa muda yang dipetik. Jadi yang muda juga harus siap-siap.
Artinya dari sini digambarkan urusan mati nggak memandang yang muda atau tua.

itu pasti, nggak usah lama-lama. Belum tentu kita akan panjang umur.
Banyak orang sesungguhnya takut mati. Siapa yang takut mati? Sudah pasti yang takut mati yang tidak percaya kepada Allah.  Kita di dunia ini kan mengembara, kita ini merantau ke dunia. Yang namanya merantau pasti akan pulang kampung.  Lihat setiap kali setelah Ramadhan, banyak yang kembali ke kampung halaman.
Lihat perilaku dan sikap mereka ketika pulang kampung,  11 bulan di perantauan, bulan ke-12 ketika pulang kampung tidak membawa rasa malu. Malu dong ketika di Jakarta lama-lama tapi ketika pulang kampung tidak bawa apa-apa. Malu dong pastinya nggak bawa sesuatu. Lalu bagaimana dengan kampung akhirat? Masa nggak bawa apa-apa?

Lihat perjuangan orang kampung (dunia). Di terminal ada yang tidur dua hari saking takutnya tidak bisa pulang kampung. Begitu mobil datang bawa barang banyak, belum anak kanan kiri. Mau masuk juga serba salah karena pintu busnya kecil, akhirnya barang di lempar eh mobil jalan.

Orang pengin pulang kampung dengan naik kereta sampai tidur di lantai, di lorong kereta, di lewati orang-orang. Saking takutnya bila tidak bisa pulang kampung.

Kita lihat bila persiapan pulang ke kampung akhirat. Pergi ke masjid, dibawah ramai di lantai dua ramai. Kadang dibilang gila untuk urusan akhirat sementara urusan dunia dianggap wajar? Karena orang beriman meyakini bahwa ada hari akhir.

Duh, namanya hidup ada masa expired. Ada masa kadaluarsa.
